Rooted in Chinese New Year traditions, this packaging draws inspiration from the life experiences and value perceptions of rice among Chinese people. It weaves together grain, prosperity, and festive blessings to create a gift box that blends deep cultural connotations with a strong holiday atmosphere.

This packaging adopts a bold and eye-catching red-and-gold color scheme: red creates a rich New Year atmosphere; gold symbolizes abundance, value, and accumulated blessings. Visually, the packaging features classic auspicious symbols such as granaries, money trees, treasure basins, auspicious clouds, and gourds, peaches, pomegranates, and bergamot oranges that symbolize blessings, wealth, longevity, joy, and prosperity. Therefore, it creates an Eastern visual appeal with storytelling power that embodies the festive spirit. All these elements are artfully integrated into a plump, oversized rice grain motif. From a distance, the packaging intuitively conveys its essence; up close, it unfolds a layered visual narrative of abundance and blessings, vividly embodying the theme of harvest and prosperity. In terms of composition, upward-growing elements symbolize prosperous growth and rising momentum, while downward-leaning layouts subtly allude to abundant harvests and full granaries—a seamless integration of cultural connotations and functional recognition.

The packaging combines the delicate detail of gongbi-style painting with modern illustration noise textures, preserving the charm of Eastern aesthetics while imbuing the work with a contemporary vibe. By combining gold-stamping craftsmanship with pearlescent pigment blended into the ink, it creates a delicate, flowing golden luster and pearlescent halo under light. It also mimics the natural sheen of grains themselves, enhancing the visual association of abundance and enriching the tactile experience.

Beyond its premium recycled paper substrate, the packaging utilizes eco-friendly soybean or water-based inks, alongside gold-stamping and pearlescent processes that meet eco-standards. This printing approach delivers a luxurious festive atmosphere while upholding eco-responsibility, ensuring holiday gifts are not only imbued with ritual significance but also carry sustainable value.
