The TECH WORLD Pavilion represented Taiwan at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Held once every five years, the World Expo adopted the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” in Osaka. The TECH WORLD Pavilion was curated under the concept of “Connecting the World to Create a Better Future Life,” with the core philosophy of “to be better together.” The exhibition was structured around three main theaters: Life, Nature, and Future.

The Life Theater takes “People and People, Better Together” as its theme, presenting a diverse and inclusive ecological environment and the resilience of life. The Nature Theater centers on “People and Nature, Better Together,” introducing Taiwan’s beautiful mountains, waters, and wellness-oriented natural environment. The Future Theater is built around the concept of “Society and Society, Better Together,” highlighting Taiwan’s key role in the global semiconductor supply chain and demonstrating how technology helps the world create a better future together.

During the six-month Expo period, the TECH WORLD Pavilion attracted more than 1.16 million visits from over 80 countries. It ranked among the top five most discussed pavilions on Japan’s major social platform X. The guide uniforms were selected by ELLE as one of the five most beautiful uniforms, and the Life Theater received the Bronze Award for Best Exhibition at the World Expolympics.

The Pavilion Day performance, Mountain, Sea, and Celestial Light, was also a highlight of the exhibition period. It attracted representatives from many countries and moved an audience of over 2,000 people, receiving an enthusiastic response that left visitors deeply impressed. The three theaters are now specially recreated at the 2026 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Chiayi, allowing more visitors to experience this pride of Taiwan firsthand.
