This design centers on “Classical Herbal Formulas,” extracting the silhouettes of
traditional Chinese medicine vessels from various dynasties to symbolize durability and heritage refined over time. The color scheme draws from the “Zang-Xiang” theory in traditional Chinese medicine, intuitively categorizing products using the five classical colors: green, yellow, purple, red, and blue, which correspond to medicines for respiratory, digestive,heart-brain-kidney, women's, and children's health, respectively. This not only conveys Eastern aesthetics but also uses color language to help older adults quickly identify the products they need.In terms of composition, the foreground features the silhouettes of ancient physicians, who appear like storytellers, embodying the ancient spirit of seeking wisdom by harmonizing yin and yang with medicine, echoing the revered medical philosophy of Zhang Zhongjing. The arrangement of the figures and layout constructs a spatial relationship of “Heaven, Earth, and Humanity,” reinforcing the balance philosophy of “correspondence between humans and nature” in traditional Chinese medicine. The subtle outlines of the medicinal vessels in the background texture resemble imprints left by the passage of time—profound and thought-provoking.Additionally, the design ingeniously incorporates the “Moon Gate” element from classical Chinese gardens, capturing the aesthetic of “framing scenery into a painting.”The shape of the packaging canister preserves the iconic form of traditional vessels while also resembling a moon gate, transforming the container into a deep and timeless vessel of Chinese medical culture, carrying ancient wisdom, and symbolizing the integration of nature and health. With elderly and middle-aged users as the core target, the design pays special attention to age-friendly functionality: the rounded canister is easy to grip and open with minimal effort; key information such as product name and dosage is enlarged for clarity and easy reading, reducing the chance of misunderstanding. The overall design “conveys the Dao through vessels, frames scenery through portals, and prioritizes a human-centric approach,” conveying the life philosophy of Chinese medicine within limited space, allowing the elderly to experience the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine through details that are warm, safe, and easy to understand.
