UNI-ORBIT is a modular, autonomous micro-transit system that re-engineers urban road resources. By replacing private vehicle space monopoly with a high-capacity herringbone cabin, it provides a premium sanctuary for the city's diverse human spectrum. It democratizes urban space, prioritizing social equity over mere throughput.
UNI-ORBIT is an autonomous mobility platform designed to reclaim urban space for a diverse society. Built on a modular skateboard platform, the vehicle features an ultra-compact footprint that maximizes traffic efficiency. Its streamlined exterior with concealed wheels reduces aerodynamic drag, optimizing energy consumption for sustainable operations.
The core innovation is the 45-degree herringbone geometry, which intercepts direct eye contact to secure a "private bubble" for passengers within a collective environment. This configuration yields "adaptive voids" between units to accommodate cargo, pets, and mobility aids, achieving spatial equity without compromising seat capacity. The interior functions as a responsive interface: a chromatic wayfinding system uses high-contrast floor patterns to provide intuitive navigation for diverse cognitive needs.
For commuters, integrated task lighting and workstations convert transit time into personal productivity. For vulnerable groups, the platform features a seamless low-floor interface and modular "care clusters". By integrating an interchangeable rear cargo module, UNI-ORBIT bridges the gap between high-capacity transit and last-mile needs. Ultimately, it democratizes urban resources, inviting all citizens back into the city’s pulse.
