Keybento is a digital platform designed to make family travel more affordable, authentic and trust-based. Existing rental and home exchange platforms are usually built around properties, dates and prices, but families with children make decisions differently. They care about safety, routines, child-friendly spaces, equipment, neighbourhood context and trust in the people behind the home.
Keybento reimagines home exchange around family compatibility. The concept helps parents discover homes from other families, understand whether the space fits their children’s needs, evaluate trust signals and start an exchange in a calm, transparent flow. Instead of treating a home as inventory, Keybento presents it as part of a family lifestyle: sleeping arrangements, toys, baby equipment, local routines, nearby parks, schools, transport and practical details that matter during a real trip.
The UX and service concept focuses on reducing anxiety in the decision-making process, especially when families are trusting each other with their homes. Key mechanics include family profiles, child-readiness indicators, compatibility matching, structured home pages, transparent exchange requests and a trust layer designed to make the exchange feel safer and easier to understand.
Keybento currently operates as a live, manually supported family home exchange service. The submitted design represents the next-stage digital product experience: a high-fidelity interface and service architecture created to make the exchange journey more scalable, transparent and reassuring for families. The work builds on an existing service model and translates it into a clearer digital experience for discovering homes, evaluating compatibility, building trust and starting an exchange.
