“Taiwan Essential Hues Souvenir Gift Box" is a public design proposal tailored for local regional products. Moving beyond a conventional single-brand mindset, it introduces a shared, highly adaptable packaging system capable of housing the East Coast’s finest tea, rice, seafood, and keepsakes. This initiative elevates local treasures—once scattered across the mountains and seas—into a cohesive, sophisticated gifting experience. Designed around the concept of a "treasure box," the project seamlessly bridges local industries, aesthetic packaging, and tourism promotion.

The exterior visuals center on the East Coast’s most iconic landscapes: the mountains, the fields, and the ocean. For the Mountain Collection, cascading peaks and lush green gradients evoke the fertile essence flowing from the Central Mountain Range. The Field Collection features golden hues that capture the radiance of swaying rice waves and ripening crops, echoing the idyllic charm of famous rice-growing regions like Chishang and Guanshan. Meanwhile, the Ocean Collection deploys blue wave lines, seabirds, and tidal textures to sketch the vast openness of the Pacific coast, complemented by ribbons adorned with indigenous motifs. Through this project, the warmth and hospitality of Eastern Taiwan are beautifully translated into the art of gifting, delivering a profound message carried by the mountains, fields, and sea.
