uVoice is a wearable device paired with a mobile app designed to empower individuals with speech disabilities and communication disorders to communicate using their own voices, leveraging AI technology.

Communication disorders affect an estimated 5% to 10% of the U.S. population, with approximately 3 million adults experiencing stuttering, 1 million adults facing aphasia, and 5% of U.S. children grappling with noticeable speech issues. While global statistics on communication disabilities are unavailable, conservative estimates suggest that by 2025, there will be 190.5 million individuals with such challenges in low- and middle-income countries. uVoice aims to address these needs by harnessing artificial intelligence to learn users' language and communication patterns, offering chat responses based on this learning, and ultimately facilitating smooth and confident self-expression for those with communication disorders.

Through uVoice, users can generate their own voices while utilizing the app. Additionally, uVoice provides a diverse selection of hundreds of voices for those who prefer alternatives or are unable to speak. uVoice enables users to practice with AI, receiving feedback to enhance their communication skills. It also offers simulated scenarios representing common life situations for further practice.

When facing challenging scenarios, such as in-person conversations, users can wear the glasses to ensure seamless communication without interruptions. uVoice suggests responses based on AI's understanding of the users, enabling them to speak independently while uVoice articulates on their behalf, using the users' AI-generated voices. Alternatively, users can input text, and uVoice will vocalize their message.

With continued usage, uVoice's AI refines its predictive capabilities, providing increasingly personalized responses that align with users' communication and language habits.

By utilizing AI, uVoice aims to empower people to speak in their own voice!
