Paysafe's acquisition of the ground floor at Two Gresham Street presented an exciting opportunity to reimagine their workspace, with a keen focus on employee wellbeing and brand expression. Having occupied the first floor of the building for a year, this expansion was part of a strategic move to accommodate a new three-day in-office work policy.

The brief to Oktra was clear: design a space that not only complements the client-facing first floor but also serves as a dynamic hub exclusively for employees. This new area needed to reflect Paysafe’s identity as a cutting-edge tech company and provide a variety of settings for work, collaboration, and relaxation. The result is a thoughtfully curated ‘destination workspace’ that encourages employees to return to the office, fostering a strong sense of community and engagement.

Key features of the design include multifunctional areas like a theatre, a cinema room, and a library, all designed to support different work styles and activities. An internal staircase seamlessly connects the ground and first floors, enhancing the flow and interaction between spaces. Special attention was given to inclusivity, with a dedicated quiet zone tailored to neurodiverse employees, incorporating smart tech and acoustic treatments for optimal comfort and productivity.

The office's aesthetic strongly reflects Paysafe’s dynamic brand, with vibrant colours and bold artwork, including wall art inspired by their Jacksonville headquarters. A standout feature is the theatre, strategically positioned with floor-to-ceiling windows and equipped with large LED screens to display Paysafe's branding, effectively turning the office into a live advertisement.

Sustainability was a core component of the project, aligning with Paysafe’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Oktra ensured that the design adhered to high environmental standards, using local and sustainable materials to achieve a Ska rating—reinforcing Paysafe’s dedication to creating a green and inclusive workplace.

Overall, Oktra's design has successfully transformed Paysafe's new office into a destination workspace, promoting well-being, inclusivity, and brand visibility while supporting sustainable practices. This project not only meets the practical needs of a modern workforce but also embodies the innovative spirit of Paysafe.
