Awash in bespoke details, this 4,500 sq-ft space is brought to life with a futuristic aesthetic. Designer aimed to create a unique spatial experience, drawing inspiration from spacecraft interiors and the organic beauty of outer space.

The bold entrance features a graphic ceiling mimicking a meteor shower and a floor dotted with black forms resembling meteor remnants. The entry door, framed by slanted triangles, hints at the dining area's backlit “Back to the Future” section, establishing smart design continuity throughout the space.

The bar is highlighted with silver-hued glass bricks, metal tiles, and laminate, creating a sophisticated, futuristic metallic effect. A raised seating area, with lightbox-framed doorways, has a capsule-like appearance. Irregularly arranged square lightboxes on the wall add a graphic, three-dimensional character.

The washrooms reflect meticulous attention to detail, with futuristic lettering and backlit symbols creating high-impact style. Inside, blue light strips provide electric illumination and spatial verve.

The restaurant’s vestibule and waiting area feature a warmer palette and intricate lighting. One wall displays moving glass tubes that change light as they roll, adding dynamism and evoking a sense of ignition akin to being on Mars. Furnishings include a geometric cabinet and irregularly shaped metallic stools and reception counter, enhancing the meteorite theme.

For the private dining room, Lee used unexpected materials like corrugated metal on the ceiling and a feature wall. LED panel walls and deep-space blue accents amplify the galactic theme.

Designer’s focus on design continuity and customization makes H3 Matrix a unique restaurant and bar interior that inspires contemplation and invites enjoyment.
