Singaporeans are used to using tissues to occupy their seats, and this action is called CHOPE CHOPE. After being seated, one can see that the restaurant has paid attention to small details. Each diner has a different color of tissue paper and plate.

The site is an isolated space, located in a department store. The brand takes the new concept of Southeast Asian cuisine as the core of the restaurant to showcase Singaporean and Malaysian culinary culture. The owner is also the chef and hopes to bring the hometown taste that he grew up with to the international arena. Traditional South Asian cuisine combined with more modern cooking methods, street food can be transformed into a gorgeous meal. The design team was then inspired by the chef's philosophy to create a mix of modern fashion and vintage elements.

-The impressions of the ingredients

The interior has many openwork elements. The shape is based on one of the most popular New Year's cakes, Achappam, which is named after its beehive-like look. New Year's cakes are particularly valuable in Southeast Asian countries where the seasons are summer-like, highlighting the meaning of a moment in time, a blessing and a message from the design team to visitors. The vintage elements attract people to visit and give the senses the utmost care.

-Creating a Southeast Asian rainforest-like atmosphere

The restaurant's earth tone reflects the tropical mood of the Southeast Asian rainforest. The golden yellow and green scheme is striking. The bamboo lampshades highlight the southern style. The cement tone wall has the restaurant's logo on it, and green floral decoration shows a sense of liveliness. It also serves as a photo wall, which is a popular place for young people to take photos, and the seats around it are the most sought-after. As for the fabric embroidery wall decorations and bamboo lanterns, they showcase the centuries-old Nyonya culture. By reinterpreting the Southeast Asian culture, the design team makes the Singaporean owner feel like he is back home.
