Between Breath is a philosophically profound real - time interactive video work that stands out with its innovative interactive design and profound thematic conception, centered on the philosophical thinking of nature in the breath.

Created with TouchDesigner, the work presents a dynamic tree that interacts with the audience's voice. When the audience speaks, the tree rotates and deforms like a living rhythm and eventually dissociates into dust particles; as the sound fades, the dust particles reconstruct into a tree. This cycle of "condensation - dissociation - reconstruction" metaphorically represents the resilience of nature, the interaction between human behavior and nature. Inspired by global temperature change data and artist Olafur Eliasson's exploration of nature, it starts from the cultural metaphor of "tree" (such as the World Tree in Norse mythology) and combines the visual imagery of "dust" (like the dust in a forest after a fire). Through the integration of Blender modeling, TouchDesigner interactive programming and sound sensing technology, it achieves a high unity of technology and art. In the exhibition, the work triggers the audience's deep thinking about the natural cycle, human intervention and life resilience. It is not only a visually stunning interactive media work, but also a poetic fable about the relationship between nature and human beings.
