Rooted at the intersection of the city’s ecological corridor and humanistic context, LEYANG · LIUHUAXI Project takes "Riverside Leisure Luxury · Poetic Dwelling" as its core concept, integrating the cultural context of Mindu (Fuzhou) water towns with the vision of contemporary sustainable human settlements. Drawing inspiration from the winding water system of LIUHUAXI, the design team has embedded natural systems into the community’s spatial structure through a strategy of low intervention and high integration, achieving the organic coexistence of architecture, landscape and ecology.

The main entrance of the community takes "Flowing Stream with Outstretched Wings" as its imagery, translating the formal language of the overhanging eaves of traditional Fujian dwellings. It also adopts low-carbon building materials such as high-reflectivity Low-E glass, translucent jade and recycled aluminum. While ensuring visual transparency, this helps reduce the heat island effect.

The drop-off area is built in accordance with five-star hotel standards to create a rain-free homecoming route, enhancing comfort while reducing energy consumption. The facade features elegant gray as the main tone, supplemented by champagne gold metal lines, which strengthens the architectural recognition and light-shadow layers while controlling light pollution.

The project fully implements the activation strategy for the public space of the elevated floor, transforming the first floor into an weather proof community "second living room". This space integrates functions such as children’s play, fitness and leisure, and neighborhood interaction. Drawing on the logic of resort hotel clubs, it embeds a modular and renewable green furniture system, and combines vertical green walls with local vegetation to create a composite ecological interface that regulates microclimate and supports biodiversity. This not only extends the time residents spend on outdoor activities, but also significantly reduces reliance on indoor air-conditioning systems.
