Haikou CR Land Time Lane

This project is located in Haikou, Hainan, China, which is a southern coastal city rich in natural coastal scenery. It is surrounded by a strong cultural atmosphere and is located in a bustling old street occupied by arcades. We hope to show the old aesthetic of Haikou Nanyang culture by combining contemporary spirit and meaning through this project. Just as the same as the design concept of the project,"like flowers in the wild, the empty room is more white".

The living room utilizes the ethereal and indifferent nature of mountain pine, combined with the intricate patterns of ink and Jiangnan marble that rise like mountains, to extract an elegant and elegant Eastern style, which becomes a witness of the interaction between the space and the aesthetics of the old era across time and space. Light and shadow are always the best way to shape the atmosphere. Under the rendering of oriental beauty and subtle lighting, the tranquility and elegance of the space are artistically expressed.

Banana flowers are locally produced products that perfectly showcase Hainan's unique local characteristics when placed on the dining table. The marble tabletop creates an elegant atmosphere under the candlelight.

The master bedroom uses a lot of white space, making sunlight the main tone, while the unmoving coral as the background. The light Chinese-style tones make the whole space gentle and simple, with a calm and dynamic atmosphere, immersing oneself in tranquility and healing leisure time.

The abstract hanging paintings echo with the bamboo branches on the Chinese-style wooden table, blending the elegance of modernism with the subtlety of oriental culture. Bamboo, cattail fans, tea sets, plants, wood, seemingly unpretentious, simple but sophisticate utensils are also used in the entire space. They are derived from the idea of Less is More. Every element makes people return to nature, and truly enjoy the relaxing and healing space.

In order to create a dreamy and poetic girl's room, we use oriental aesthetics combined with custom-made furniture, adding elements of lotus flowers which not only satisfying aesthetics but also the need of storage.
